My full name is Letizia D’Alimonte. I am a grade 12 student at Orchard Park Secondary School. I love to read, and often find myself needing to express myself through journals, songs, and sometimes yelling ;). Since I love reading so much I jumped at the opportunity when I heard there was a course offered at OP that I thought was all about reading, all day long! Little did I know it would be one of the most challenging courses I have ever taken, and quickly found that my writing skills needed improvement and careful guidance. Hence, my eye flashed to the course code of EWC 4U1.

I believe taking this course will greatly improve my ability to express myself and find my own “voice”. Next year I hope to be in the faculty of humanities at a university.
